flesh n bones girl currently hold the title for my favorite platformer level of all time. The level is really unique, unlike anything I have ever seen in Geometry Dash. Koko is one of my favorite creators in the game, and this level is a good representation of koko at their best. This level is quite difficult for an insane demon, and really learny at that, so I would strongly suggest multiple practice runs of the level for the best experience. Initial practice runs can be frustrating at times, but from 0, the level is such a blast to play. In fact, most of the difficulty comes from learning the level itself. The level starts off by bringing you into "the house" area which gives you a feel on how the physics of the level works, introducing you to the core gameplay mechanic, wall jumping, which is extremely well put together and paves the road for fun sections later on in the level. The level continues moving on, utilizing this core mechanic with the additions of others such as wind, ice, homing darts, and walls you cannot jump off of. Paired with the really unique decoration, it paved the way for a fun and pleasant experience for me. This level never gets stale considering how each section of the level provides a fresh twist on things. The difficulty starts to pick up when you reach the sewers, however despite it being more difficult, the level still manages to be fun with the constant twists of gameplay decisions. Following the sewers, you are met with two chase sections, which in particular are frustrating to learn, but really satisfying to pull off. It also introduces you to the antagonist, John Lemmon who really wants you dead. After the speedrun sections, you reach the finale where you must now kill John Lemmon. The attacks have a pattern which takes a while to learn, and can be intimidating, especially with the fast hands and the homing dart, but it does get quite consistent. Finally you prevail and meet the comically long endscreen. Overall this level is extremely unique and really fun, something I would strongly suggest to play!

♤ quite possibly the most hidden gem/underrated banger in the game.

to me this level is practically flawless, the gameplay, the deco, the song choices, and even the world building.

to start, the gameplay is the absolute best part of the level to me. it plays and flows perfectly and there isn't a single thing I would change. I would even say it's unbalanced but in a good way (unbalanced doesn't always equal bad!!). the first few levels are really easy and provide basically 0 challenge, and then there are some rooms that just spike in difficulty. to most people that probably sucks, but to me, it immerses me in the world it's creating with the first few easy levels, and then makes me lock in a little bit in. I first beat this without coins and thought it was perfect, and then later I rebeat with coins and now think it's perfect+. the coins, to be completely honest, are fucking stupid lmao. I dont wanna leak the secrets of the coins because personally I had so much fun deciphering the sheer confusion that this level is. the first chase level with John Lemmon is imo the hardest part of the level, and with that its still really fun. normally I hate speedrunning and levels that make you go fast, but the gimmicks and mechanics in this level are so well made, that doing it fast is somehow just as fun. the upwards autoscroller part is really funny but still pretty hard, although there are some skips/techniques to make it super consistent. and to end(?) the level off, you fight THE... JOHN LEMMON DXEX! this bossfight is actually really easy, just memorize a few attacks and dodge the awesome spike. this wpild be soooo boring without that awesome spike. the spike follows your movement, so it makes you think about your exact movements while dodging THE... JOHN LEMMON DXEX's hands. after you defeat him, the level ends and you sit through a perfect length endscreen with the goat underscores (siximpala).

now for decoration. koko43 has always been one of my all time favourite creators since her first rate. to be completely honest, I can't put what I like into words, but the world this level creates is just fantastic. the song choices exemplify this greatly and the difference between each level makes me appreciate each detail between each level upon reply. the gradual shift from absolute nonsense to connecting levels is really cool to me. the statue connecting to the sewers, and then the entire 3 ending levels. and after everything you go through and completing all those hard levels and defeating THE... JOHN LEMMON DXEX, you get to the ending. it's just a simple white space with an effect, but after everything it's just such a simple beautiful place to be.

overall, this level is, in my opinion, perfection. absolutely recommend this (although lowkey I think it's extreme)
