I think it's fine for what it is, but a tad disappointing. I really like the idea of having the experience of a player's rage in Geometry Dash being contextualized into a Geometry Dash level. Rage is one of the first things any GD player experiences when playing the game. The first spikes in Stereo Madness are our first barriers of entry. At it's core, GD is a rage game. I think this concept was really smart for Bli to tackle for Waboo's contest. Every other entry tries to make a level in spite of the Stereo Madness gameplay, but this level embraces its aesthetic.

Now, with that said, I don't really like the execution much. For me, the level loses the plot after the initial screen shatter. It goes through lots of different motions and animations that feel less thought through and more like appeals to flashiness and spectacle. What are all of the backgrounds in the ship section? What do they contribute to the level aside from being visual set pieces? The level has the potential to have lots of meat on its bones but it ends up feeling like candy.

the tablet drop is one of the coolest effects i've seen in any level and nothing will ever change (and theres def some other great and well executed ideas) that but man so much of this feels rushed and incoherent, and the direction it's indicating bli is going in is just kinda sad to me. change of scene earns its wow factor for me, but i can't help but see this as just pandering. sorry

As the whole point of this level is that it's a decorated Stereo Madness, I won't comment on the gameplay.

The visuals, though, are simply god-tier. I don't understand how so many people can have so much hatred for this visual masterpiece, especially considering it was made by ONE dude. While Bli's deco style never appealed to me that much, I can't deny that Rage Quit is one of the best-looking levels in GD. It doesn't push the editor to its ABSOLUTE limit, but it shows off how creative and crazy people can be with the editor, and I appreciate that about this level.

I'm gonna take steed in what a previous review wrote when talking about this level.

So, this level's entire purpose was to participate the Waboo contest. Are you at all surprised that this Dutch motherfucker won? Sure, it was visually impressive when I first viewed it, but over time my view on it tarnished as I kind of saw more and more off about it. This level is the absolute definition of overstimulation, which I never like seeing in a level, because that implies you care more about the YouTube views than the actual experience in playing the level. But, when you take into account Waboo's contest, that explains it all. Waboo is an absolute dumbass of a judge and only picks levels based on how flashy and attention-engaging they are, rather than the actual experience of the level.

Let's talk Rage Quit, then. Visually flashy and attention grabbing? Yes. Fun experience? In your dreams. I can't necessarily fault Bli for this, considering the entire level's gameplay is just Stereo Madness with some over-the-top visual effects. That in itself though makes this whole level a pretty sad experience. Not to mention with the nine screens section, you literally have to keep guessing which screen is the one you should be focusing on because one man can't control his anger. The visuals are about as Bli as they come. Need I say more? Pretty much every block moves and rotates because clearly there isn't enough moving shit already, and Bli's tendency to optimize with no end in sight shines through once again with things that look super realistic at a glance, but once you dive big into the details... it's bad.

Pick me level. Which is fair considering what it was made for. It was designed to win a contest where pandering is like how you win. So I guess it works in that way? I remember talking to Bli during the process and it sounded like he had fun building it, so I thinks that is all that matters. The level itself is pretty inoffensive, but I am heavily biased against stuff that is made for popularity rather than like artistic intention. I think you could argue the intention here is a love letter to the medium of Gd, but it more so comes across as a way to get the most likes possible, which again, for why it was made makes total sense. Not my thing thoughhh.

this level is proof that most hyperbolus users would rather dip their balls in a vat of sulfuric acid than give a realistic/glow styled level anything above a 5
