11/10 peak peak peak peak peak peak peam
my third favorite level and one of the only levels id give a 10/10 to, nothing short of extraordinary music representation and masterful visual progression, never felt stale to me the whole 10 minutes through
este nivel es una maravilla, es un viaje único que complementa perfectamente con la canción utilizada, una experiencia inigualable de inicio a fin.
definitely a level that grows on you, not a fan of glass beach sadly so being lower than it should isnt the level’s fault but the fact that i have to listen to a song i dont like for 7 minutes. the gameplay is also very broken and everything from the dual to the end of the mini cube right after it is not fun, or at least its what i thought of it. the rest of the gameplay is fine, it’s obviously not the focus of the level so ill give it a pass. the deco is fucking stunning tho, and even if i dont like it, the song rep is pretty good as well. a little bit overrated but still solid and im judging it from a playing experience eitherway
Review: "Commatose" by rply
Rating: ★★★★★★★★★★★ (10/10)
"Commatose" by rply is a surreal, dreamlike journey through abstract beauty and precise gameplay—a stunning example of what happens when artistic vision meets mechanical mastery in Geometry Dash.
From the very first frame, "Commatose" captivates you with its hypnotic visuals and unconventional style. The level leans heavily into an eerie, ambient atmosphere, blending glitch-inspired effects, smooth transitions, and an ethereal color palette that makes every scene feel like you're drifting through a digital hallucination. It’s minimalist, yet deeply expressive, pushing creative boundaries without ever losing cohesion.
The gameplay is just as strong as the visuals. It’s challenging, but fair—built on consistency and clean inputs rather than memorization or trickery. The way rply syncs gameplay to the haunting soundtrack adds to the immersion, creating a perfect flow that keeps you engaged from start to finish. Each section feels thoughtfully constructed, designed to test your focus while also letting you breathe in the level's mood and tone.
"Commatose" is more than just a level—it's an experience. It invites players into a world that feels isolated, strange, and oddly comforting all at once. It's abstract art in motion, a perfect blend of form and function that elevates the creative potential of Geometry Dash.
A well-deserved 10/10—haunting, mesmerizing, and beautifully executed.
Do I even need to explain
It takes such a creative mind to make something like this which cannot be easily compared to anything that came before it. You'd expect a level using a song like this to be completely carried by its choice of music but this level somehow manages to capture even the tiniest nuances in the masterpiece by Glass Beach. Astoundingly done; it's literally like if the level you saw in your head when listening to music was real
