I low-key liked the visuals in this level, I would wish for it to have the better length for better progression.
This level as a certain aura that you feel when you play a game like Celeste, it's calm, but serious at the same time so then you won't mess up and hit an obstacle.
The atmosphere does a great job at making the level feel intimidating - it really does feel like you're trying to climb to the highest and most dangerous peak. My main gripe is the very little progression for such suspense portrayed by the song. Although I do like what it does for it (like the aurora which looks really good in my opinion) in the end the level just feels very samey and repetitive the whole way through. I get that it gets faster as you go on but I don't think that's really enough.
I wish it felt more like an ascension rather than the gameplay staying at the same height the whole way - then it really would feel like a climb up and the progression would be more felt.
wowww this is gorgeous!!! love the progression with the auroras in the background and the suspenseful music. its obviously super repetitive but i dont mind at all!! whats here is incredible already, superb atmosphere and overall feel. this is just a minor nitpick but i hate how in the cutscene the robot still moves, i get that its robot only and you cant change that at all but it looks weird cuz like its moving but its not 😭😭😭 i think switching it to cube would've worked better or maybe disabling the icon and just having the campfire idk,, doesnt change much and its a minor nitpick, this is REALLY beautiful, good job!! (its like a 9.5 but it rounds up to 10)
I like this but if you skim through the entire level its the same thing the whole way through like literally the same exact thing the whole time. I do still really like the style and the music adds a lot of suspense to it.
