you know those open-world games which let you see some of their scenery early into the game to give you a sense of how unfathomably enormous their worlds are? a tiny peek into this unknown, grotesque world and your brain is rushing. there's gigantic machinery as far as the eye can see, its movements make no sense to you and yet they captivate you endlessly. why are they here? how are they here? the game will probably answer these questions sooner or later, but deep inside you wish it never did, because some of that childlike wonder would leave you and the world would start feeling familiar. you want it to captivate you by its scale. you want its story to be untold.
