(Forgive my bad language) This piece-of-shit collab is one of the most soulless, boring levels in the SGC. The gameplay feels like it was made by a 5 year old with Down’s syndrome who snorted a brick of pure Colombian cocaine 5 minutes before. The decoration is that Next Cab Soon-esque cellshaded city slop that we’re so used to seeing but not used to seeing it done well. Holy fuck why did this even PLACE over something actually good like Kiss of Fortune or Hideout
A strange mix and mash of a bunch of different styles and designs. I do they're pretty appealing individually, but when put together it leads to an incoherent experience. Gameplay was mostly just hand-holdy, especially Ivashka's part.
I really liked the idea of this level but the fact that its so inconsistent hindered it from anything really special. It would have been so fun to see the level progress into space cat eldritch horror, or someth like that.
Honestly, the difficulty in this leans between the 8 - 9, but the gameplay (at least in my opinion) is pretty good. And in terms of visuals... all I can really say is...
meow
Basically the Next Cab Soon level of the Space Gauntlet entries. Surprisingly a lot easier and more sight-readable than it looks and a lot of it looks really clean with the cartoony style it has, rather than the typical highly-detailed and technology-focused ones. I do find Ivashka’s part the weakest as it’s kinda hard to tell what is even happening in that part, but every other part has that overall style that I really dig into with these sort of megacollabs. Even the sound effects didn’t feel as distracting than they should.
