I can't remember the last time I was so thoroughly floored by a level in this game. I wrote a review for Metropolis in which I claimed that it was DesTicY's best level, and while I still stand by that, I found myself doubting that statement once Spacetime Continuum came out. One thing I can say for certain is that this level contains DesTicY's best visuals to date, right up there with the skyscraper part in Metropolis. The compositions are absolutely mindblowing from start to finish, and when you combine them with DesTicY's eye for detail and expert color work, the visual experience becomes simply divine. Taking it all in while I was playing the level for the first time reignited that childlike sense of wonder that I hadn't felt in so long, that excitement that reminded me of what makes this game's creating community so special. All of that being said, though, I do have to admit that the gameplay is clunky at times, namely the very first cube and the rotating clock part being pretty awkward to navigate. I don't have any qualms with the rest of the gameplay though, and in fact I think some of it flows pretty well. All in all, this is one of the craziest comeback levels I have ever seen, and I am beyond excited for what DesTicY has in store next.
This level's atmosphere really captured me, which is not something I can usually say for levels that try to do that. Amazing art too, and interesting gameplay. I wish the level was longer!
The pre-drop is too long, and the gameplay requires you to look at click indicators oftenly, but this is a geniunely cool level, no need of bomb-blastic looking visual and effects like those 2.2 levels.
I'm still losing my mind over how good this looks
