The level somehow doesn't feel boring despite having no decoration and being very long.
Filled with bugs? Dude it's 2.0 every level were.

This level is very topical today with the overall trend of people (especially on this website!) hating on the current evolution of the game and looking deeply at the past, if we had a 2.2 equivalent I'd be loving it

also this is kinda fun besides the slope bug before the drop, the decoration is kinda ok besides that nothing spectactular if you're looking at it in a vaccum

i remember this level being memed on a lot when it came out. but with hindsight and viewing it as a pretty traditional geometry dash level experience, it’s definitely up there as a pretty damn good level from the 2.0 update.

the level doesn’t has so much in concept, being made to poke fun at people nostalgic for the aesthetics of the 1.9 update. all we really get here is 1.0 styled structuring with minor 2.0 trigger usage for flare. despite that though, it helps the level age better than many of its earlier contemporaries in the 2.0 update. 1.0 styled levels are still a pretty sizable part of the creating consciousness today (such as omorfia and aleph 0…), and it’s not bound by all of the earnest ugly experimentation that dominated much of the update. in fact id say it makes for a pretty holistic “traditional” geometry dash experience, which i suppose is the point of the level.

with the visuals being as basic as they are, it gives a very big focus on the gameplay of the level... and its pretty damn good! triaxis always had a knack for really fun easy gameplay that flowed extremely well--especially for being made in 2.0--and this level is no exception.
