I was probably AleeXhey's number one glazer when this level released. I remember spending hours of my dedicated time sending this map to level request streams, while also playing the song over and over again to people. I remember making my own damn copy of his level called Rainstorm with the exact same song.

An often criticism of AleeXhey's non-Death work is that he feels to derivative of KrmaL, but I believe that making something entirely new from the influence of your favorite creator is truly special.

I remember there being an upload of this level calling it a Black Blizzard remake, and that couldn't be further from the truth. It separated itself heavily from actual soulless dumpster fires of levels that dare to call themselves related to Black Blizzard. There's a lot of heart and detail put into this, but probably my favorite detail is the moon shifting away from the sun towards the end of the drop. I believe this level was the reason I grew such a fascination with Solar Eclipses in the first place. It's a really dramatic portrayal of one and works incredibly well, partly thanks to the song.

Unrelated, but another detail I remember was AleeXhey apologizing to RobTop at the end for apparently hacking levels, while also saying this was submitted to a Viprin CC back then. But, correct me if I'm wrong.
