Used to be my favorite level.
Looking back at it, it really relied on just the shock factor to impress players, now there's almost nothing left from it. The gameplay is really not optimal, and most of the decoration hasn't really aged that well.
It can have somewhat of pride on being the first level to ever use parallax to create 3d objects tho, that's something.
Pure, concentrated early 2.1, almost uncompromising in its design. There are still some parts that blow me away, such as the spider part before the drop. It's also a fusion between core and effect styles, which is kind of unheard of- you'd think that it would be disastrous since there would be so much detail, but it's surprisingly easy to follow.
