This has worn a bit thin on me over the years, but what always tips me over the edge to liking this level is how your journey winds down. Dark Travel’s final part is one of the most tender and soft parts I’ve ever seen in a geometry dash level, and while I think the nerves of being at 90%+ clash with the mood, I can’t help but love this finale. It sells the feeling that you’ve finally returned home, in sharp contrast to how Lonely Travel ended with you getting lost in a faraway corner of the world. Lonely travel is the best 2.0 travel level. Dark travel is the best 2.1 travel level. I don't know how to really explain this, but it doesn't feel like gd. Certain levels to me kinda transcend a boundary where it becomes the song, idk it's weird to think about. But I associate this song with this level if that makes sense. The early 2.1 charm is honestly my favorite part now that I'm looking at it again, it just feels lively and it has atmosphere that is only found in jonathangd's levels. This level is special man
