remember at one point in time i considered this my favorite level in the game. was deep in the trenches of 2.1 and i'm not really sure what i was thinking entirely, but still a very treasured level for me. probably my favorite glow level. but it's not really for the glow, it's for that gameplay. after the first ship, which makes me feel nothing and is the level's one fatal flaw, there's really nothing i'd change about the gameplay. so unique, unlike really anything before it including other f3lixsram levels, easy but nerve wracking and a little janky in interesting ways. definitely hasn't aged the best visually but it's still pretty solid and great for the time, like that heart at the end by azertiop looked fuckin photorealistic by the standards then lol

really like the claustrophobic gp here, it also fits perfectly with F3lixsram’s gp. but yeah, easily my favorite level from the Doom Gauntlet
