This is a level that is just something else.

This, for a 2.1 level is INSANE. Many of these effects in 2.2 aren't as impressive but for 2.1 it's insane, and even more so when it came about about 2 years after 2.1

The level is really polished and I feel like the level wouldn't be as good if it had "deco". The level using the "default" blocks gives me a different feeling than if they were some decorated blocks. The level is GD in its simplest form twisted in different ways.

The level is full of gimmicks are effects which I LOVE.

incredible for it's time, but the first half is incredibly jank and generally just significantly harder than anything after it.

A very formulaic level, i usually dont take a deep interest in levels that are as effect oriented as this but in this case there's a very strong foundation hidden behind the flashy appearance. I've always been a massive fan of how zhander structures things out, it's both seamless and at the same time always filled with charm. Aleph 0 seems to try and demonstrate this consistency all the way throughout, it's built to a pretty unorthodox song and mimics its essence to the best of its ability, everything feels very carefully placed. The level couldve potentially taken more risks to truly separate itself from the song it uses, but for whats worth, this is still pretty much a flawless level in my eyes.

This has unmatched levels of aura. Everything about this is just pure gold for its time. I used to love this a lot so now it gets points for nostalgia for me.
