the song has one of the best drop all time

If you've heard this phrase before then you most likely know what this level is. Z3ll1nk by dr0me is a level I found about a year ago while searching through random levels with a Cacola song, and I found another level by dr0me. The level was really interesting! So I searched through their other levels and stumbled across this, and when I got to the drop I was so in awe at what I was hearing that I tweeted it.

And then it was history.

Z3ll1nk is an extremely unique and honestly confusing level, but in a good way. Nothing feels like it's in the right place and the colors feel like they're just thrown around everywhere. It feels like it takes assets from another level but doesn't change the colors and let's it uses colors from before if that makes sense. However, it's oddly fitting mostly because of how absolutely WEIRD the song is.

The weird glow background in the beginning and the rainbow blocks everywhere really sell what this level's intent is, to be weird and strange. And I honestly love it! It's meant to be goofy and not taken seriously, like the little monsters dancing around in the first ball part, it's all in really good fun. It loves to switch styles and completely ignore the previous parts, it feels like one of those fake collabs honestly, and I love it for that.

You then finally get to the drop and are immediately assaulted by a BURST of colors, and it honestly looks REALLY COOL. The gameplay is really fun, the decoration fits the song, it's an honestly really well made part. The default spikes are kind of a weird choice but I honestly dig it. My favorite part about this level is after the initial drop part you slide down on this invisible ramp and then see this really cool painting of a tree, for about... 1 second? And then it goes away never to be seen again for the rest of the level LOLLLL it's little things like that that make this level so memorable. The next part introduces this lined block design and this really overbearing dark glow on everything which makes the part feel very muddy, but I honestly think that was the intention. It also has this nine circles background which I genuinely didn't notice until rewatching it right now LOL

The level then ends with this flashlight section where you can barely see anything around you. The background is a rainbow spiral with these very overbearing red lazers as you go through a semi auto section filled with mirrior portals that are synced to the song. The level ends shortly after that with a straight fly where every spike moves away from you, except one. LOL

This level is complete insanity and I love it for that, not a single visual design choice in this level makes any sort of sense, and you can just tell that these were levels made for fun by dr0me. I'm still shocked at how popular this level got and oh my GOD I GET IT THAT ITS THE WORST DROP PLEASEEE STOP MENTINOING IT GO CHECK OUT THEIR OTHER LEVELS THEYRE ALL REALLY COOL STOP POSTING IT IN THEIR COMMENTS 😭😭😭😭😭😭
