Really disliked the gameplay of this but honestly it was probably a major skill issue. scissors' individual parts are pretty vaguely connected by the theme of nature vs humanity (like old rust don't dry but less strongly themed) but it's definitely one of his more structured levels considering we're talking about devin here. The gameplay however is asymmetrical duals for most of its runtime. I get the feeling that devin wanted to focus hard on the gameplay for this level before he experimented his decoration style to focus on even more complex designs, as this is the last level from that era of devin.
scissors is, overall, nothing mindblowing, and is just a solid level with no major flaws in devin's ultra-stacked catalogue
