i fluked with one final ship death. suffice to say, i never experienced the agony this level can provide, which is why my score is inadvertently high.
extremely fun to get runs on, though! it's basically a series of ship challenges, with short timing-gamemode interludes between. the only wave part is easy, thank god. deco and song are both awesome, too. extremely intense atmosphere that fits this type of Terrifying. gameplay very well
currently my hardest demon! that'll hopefully change soon, whenever i can be bothered to return to critical heat
The atmosphere of this level is on point with the song, and the gameplay structuring reflects on the guitar riffs clashing in the background. The decoration in this case does enough to maintain the feeling of weight overall in the level, which would make this level really good for its difficulty... had it been balanced differently. This level is basically a 83-100% simulator once you get consistent at everything else, and the difficulty of the last ship section makes it so beating this is one of the most grueling, frustrating and agonizing experiences you can have beating a level in this game. Genuinely a shame.
some of the best song rep i've seen in any level PERIOD, it truly feels like you are being decimated and incinerated by the blade of some cursed giant
the gameplay is a perfect extension of this too, though very much learny and a bit awkward at first it feels like it goes hand in hand perfectly with the atmosphere and the music and it's just a perfect fit, i couldn't see this song being put to anything other than a torture chamber of wicked curve fly
fantastic level to watch, and equally fantastic to get runs on every now and then for fun if you're skilled at this kind of ship gameplay
