probably the only person on this planet with actual tastes who likes this more than windy. windy landscape is in a kinda weird spot where it’s The Woogi Style that got/gets bastardized so ive just seen it way overdone, and it doesn’t have the spark it once had. same with crunchy apple. tho i do still really like windy landscape, obviously. this, i don’t really think of as a remake because it’s so different. rly what the appeal for me here is it’s just an immensely satisfying glow level, to a degree i do not usually see. there’s like a part or two in the predrop i could go without but so much of the gameplay is incredibly satisfying to watch, probably in large part due to its extreme difficulty, and the pacing in general is great. it does a lot of things i don’t usually care for done really well, delirium tremens was in my 9s for a bit (a bit too weak in parts outside the drop for the 9) and that’s probably the only comparable relatively straight forward glow level i like this much

totally respect hating this level, and it’s a little out of character for me because i actively think pursuing ‘woogi style’ is a lost cause coz of how singular his ideas are, but this isn’t really woogi style at all, honestly for the first year of this levels existence i barely processed the ‘landscape’ bit. it’s a really good example of the real problem with glow megacollabs is that they’re megacollabs and inherently are limited in terms of pacing and consistency
