A few years ago I absolutely hated this level because of the song. But then I actually tried listening to Tally Hall and realized this style of music is really interesting and kinda decent. Made me think a little bit and expand my music even if just a tiny bit. This level is not anything particularly special but it does have a charm to it and I can't help but like this level and what it did for me. Also side note, I don't even like Tally Hall that much but it was an eye opener to give weirder music a shot and to open up a world to me I didn't really know existed.

This song evidently has really good potential to contribute to a fantastic level, however Ruler Of Everything doesn't really feel like it uses the song to much extent at all. The problems lie in how the structuring feels shackled by too strongly adhering to conformity without any experimentation, not even mentioning that level suffers from it using this archetype of light glow style usually also ends up feeling uninspired without any proper modification. What I'm trying to say is that the song just mostly feels slapped on, albeit there is some attempt at song rep near the end of the level

Cool song if you're 5, the level doesn't even fit with it to begin with. Just a mess and a slog

the first time i saw this level on gdtoday, it seemed super awesome with the song and progression. it seemed like a level that i would enjoy playing, unfortunately, during this time, i had like 4 extremes, so it wasnt really something on my radar due to the difficulty. when i started extremegrinding, i remember seeing this level on the twitter post, so i decided to try to beat this now that i felt more comfortable playing this level of difficulty (i had 9 extremes at this point). that was extremely worth it, as this became, and still is, my favorite extreme that ive beaten out of the 171 extremes. the gameplay is extremely fun, the deco + gameplay + progression go super well together with the song. also, this level felt like a journey for me. it made me feel something special that gd levels barely make me feel. even when rebeating it for the recording 2 years later, i felt the exact same way. overall, this level is an amazing experience for those who like xxl levels and im so glad to come across ruler of everything from a fucking twitter post from gdtoday lmao.

I would say the song carries but the gameplay of this level is so smooth and satisfying to pull off.

Where this level kind of falls flat in deco, it decently makes up for in the atmosphere. The energy matches the song pretty well, but I wish there was a little more detail and variation to look at.
Playing wise this is a little rough around the edges, but very enjoyable and nerve racking.
Generally pretty unpolished, but still very enjoyable.
