I'm not gonna sing more praises to this level than what has been already said. This is a level that embodies all that's right about this game. Pursuing realism and visual gimmicks is void and null when you know you can't get better than this. Just give up.
My favorite demon in the game overall.
I've had my fair share of playing XXL levels, and I've grown to liking them because it's a patience and endurance test, and I do like it when a level aims to see how much I can handle before quitting out. This one... this is where me liking them took a turn. If you want a level in which its song representation is done incredibly well, this is the definitive example. The decoration of this level very much compliments the song so much. It's atmosphere & vibe are just... incredible. At this rate, I think I don't need to elaborate further on the decoration as we can all agree that the decoration is amazing. It's the culmination of cometface's creating career put into one level. Now for the gameplay, it does a good job at keeping you on your toes for the whole 7 minutes of you playing the level. And not once did I find it to be boring. Again, XXL levels are mainly a patience and endurance test, if you want something harder that can help you improve both of those, especially after doing one that is an easy demon. I'd say go for this. And then once you do beat it the first, go ahead beat it again because you feel like it's quite the fun and engaging one to play. I sure did... I've beaten it probably 8 times. I think that'll hit double digits soon.
Well Rested is a fantastic level. One that has incredible song representation in terms of the decoration, and gameplay that is fun and engaging to go for.
Pure, unfettered hope cannot be condensed into a 1-2 minute level.
You cannot stop civilisation.
