A level so incredibly surreal and so incredibly personal executed with 2003devin's level of mastery of the editor only could be paired with a banger of a song to top it all off; this is a level that wears the lack of coherence in its sleeve and throws every shit to the wall because fuck it, and everything sticks in a bizarre, graphic manner, from the incredibly niche references to other levels by devin to the changes from industrial block designs to disgusting sludge and literal human flesh being used as the backbone of everything, to throw you off balance with some other change of design later. As it is the case with every work devin has put out, this level was never meant to get the masses' approval, and I hella love it for it. A real shame 2.2 broke it, but when it worked I had a blast beating this. By its artistic merit alone I consider this the best extreme demon of all time.
This is what I think about when people say 'making a GD level should be about what you want'. In a way, it doesn't feel... real? Devin's mastered his style, and it makes for some of the more interesting levels to watch. Everything in the level feels so raw and unfiltered (e.g. going straight from the heaven part to a desert where human remains are used as a block design). Even if the level is needlessly graphic at times, that's part of the level's charm, and that's why I like it so much. 91/100 level, should definitely get a rate if the gameplay isn't complete bullshit.
