Ohhh my chud ooohhh my chud maxxormen
May not be the most polished level ever but I enjoy what it's going for. It features a lot of very distinct parts that sort of feel like the creators were mainly just having fun. I think the concept of having one player's side being really hard and the other's really easy is kind of neat, since I don't think I've seen that much before. When you compare it to other works by mbed and SpKale it isn't amazing, but I don't hate it.
Look, I love Crossroads, and I've liked the majority of spkale's stuff too. So when I say this level is bad, it's not from any sort of dislike for the creators or their style. It seems like a level they just messed around with and had fun making anyways, so there's nothing wrong with it. That is, until robtop got his hands on it. Seriously, why in the world is this epic rated??? I can't imagine a world where that had nothing to do with both of them being (elder?) mods. I'm not even trying to imply that they "conspired with him to have their level epic rated" or anything dumb like that, my guess is he just saw the m and his brain turned off. Maybe I shouldn't be talking about outside events at all, but I just had to say something about it, and anyways my score isn't being altered at all by that stuff, I just think the level is middling.
Pretty neat looking level but I prefer it a lot more when two-player levels actually have each player interacting with one another a la Duelo Maestro or Apocalypse Afterparty. The interacting between the two is non-existent here; you could split this level horizontally right down the middle and pass it off as two decent 1 player levels, which calls into question why they needed to be combined.
That being said I do understand why levels like these are made, because it's a fun social experience to have one person decorating the top part and another decorating the bottom, and that fun exudes throughout the level- it suffers a bit from not taking itself seriously but I appreciate its authenticity a lot.
Fun 2 player level and look cool
