As a calamity fan, I really wanted to love this level. However, except for the ending, the bosses are basically just normal gameplay, which is very disappointing. The ending is even worse, being a huge difficulty spike at the end of an XL with very easy gameplay before it.
grown off me over time but it's still a super cute calamity homage
Whirl's style is not for me, sorry. It occupies a similar headspace to modernistic pastel corporate artstyles, and it also just doesn't work in this context because Providence is this insanely hyper detailed earth monster, so it creates a lot of clashing.
Still more fun than actually fighting Providence in Calamity tho
