Surprising that work this intricately detailed can also look completely unfinished, especially MaJacko's parts in the level. Not to mention how jarring each transition between the parts are- I felt like I was constantly seeing stuff OOB in his parts which feels really messy and rushed. It's quite a shame because I think both Loogiah and MaJacko's creating chops are still there, it's just that I think this level needed to focus a lot less on the intricate details and moreso on the bigger picture and cohesiveness of it all. This is a quality that is very important when it comes to MaJacko's older stuff that has made it so timeless, so that tact being lost between updates really stings. I do get why this level is the way it is though- MaJacko has had a fascination with creating detailed art and you can see that struggle against the editor in a lot of his 1.6 stuff like Stereo Demoness but I think this was the wrong lesson to take from those experiences. For core especially, part of its appeal is how it's still recognizably Geometry Dash.
