MCres has always struck me as an insanely underrated creator with a unique style. After completing his XXL insane demon Beneath The Surface a month or two prior to this level's release, I was very excited watching previews of Beyond The Summit on his channel. Needless to say, when I had the chance to play it, my expectations were met. This level is SO beautiful and the progression is easy to follow. It's very clear that you begin at the base of a mountain, and slowly work your way up to the summit. The 4x robot where snow builds up around the forest, and the intense blizzard at the drop mixed with unconventional gameplay are some of the few details that make this level super charming when compared to my other completions. As for the gameplay, it's different. It definitely emphasizes on memory near the drop, and the swinging objects at the final "temple" part are pretty neat. There definitely are some janky and questionable clicks throughout the level, and the beginning can be a little slow and annoying until the drop hits. I had a fun experience with it nonetheless, and I enjoyed it a lot considering it was only my 2nd extreme at the time. Would recommend.
