what?? the fuck?? how is it possible to make a level this good. never before seen textures, gameplay interactivity and structure, art style and animation prowess on display here. insane work and probably one of the biggest left turns 2.1 has seen in a single level

this level just ignores the game's stylistic or technical limitations and just executes whatever it wants to and i love it so much for that
I don't really know how to describe this level's atmosphere, except that it seems like it's trying to be creepy and cartoonish at the same time and it's somehow working. Definitely not the first mixture of aesthetics I'd think to do, but this level executes it really well. I also like that it puts the bossfight at the start instead of the end to just completely turn everything on its head. The gameplay is also really fun; the clicksync in the first wave feels really good.
