I dont get it. Its pretty shit in a lot of places. Go play the original its better and more intense
Praise be to our lord Soup26
Rare case of good modern day 1.9 level. It's neither a 2.1/2.2 level made with 1.9 objects or a direct ripoff of some classic, which already put it ahead of most, but also it's just done damn well and it feels like something that could've been made at the time. Considering the limited toolset, some effects are quite impressive and overall it's just one of those levels that feel cool. Cannot say much about gameplay, I have practiced it a bit and it seems fun, but as I haven't beaten it I can't give a proper rating on that. Overall just one of the coolest non-1.9 1.9 levels.

Sephiroth Ultra is a level that I have known for a while now, but only recently began to love. It is an extended remake of Nick24’s old impossible level “Sephiroth.” Although Sephiroth Ultra was released 8 months ago, it was rated only 2 weeks ago. Regardless, Soup did Nick24’s level justice with the numerous clean designs and neat effects.
To start with, Sephiroth Ultra features some amazing 1.9 decoration. Most of the designs in the level are rather basic, but Soup pairs the designs with beautiful effects. For example, he gave the blocks in the ship at 9% a neat waving effect with glow pieces. There is another example in the ball at 48% where the basic block designs are enhanced with beautiful pulses and the pulsing hexagons throughout the entire part. However, the best example of Soup’s effects bringing the part together is in the part at 90%. The structures in the part are made out of the transparent blocks, but Soup made a beautiful pulsing glow pattern that was made to fit within the structures. Soup was not afraid to fill this level with wonderful effects, making this level very special.
Additionally, Soup paired the excellent decoration with incredibly fun gameplay. The level was intended to be Extreme Demon, however the gameplay seems a bit too easy for this difficulty. There are some challenging parts, and they are not too difficult. However, the gameplay is still incredibly fun. I personally think Sephiroth Ultra is one of the most fun levels in the game as I cannot stop replaying the level.
Soup truly outperformed himself with both the decoration and gameplay in this level. Sephiroth Ultra has some of the best looking decoration and some of the most fun gameplay that the limitations 1.9 can give. I am ecstatic that this level has finally gotten the rate that it deserves, and I am excited to see what Soup26 makes next.
I’m convinced Soup is a time traveller from 2015 cause you can’t get as authentically 1.9 as this from GDPS levels

It took me a while to get around to beating this level. I first saw it around six months ago on Jo2000's channel and I was blown away by how accurately this level portrays a classic decoration style. This level is a remake and extension of "Sephiroth" by Nick24, which I had never heard of until after playing this level. The first 30 seconds are directly based on that level, and I think that Soup26 did a great job reimagining those parts. Everything else after the first 30 seconds is fully original, while still noticeably taking inspiration from other 1.9 levels. The most notable of these are Cyclic's levels "Sonic Wave" and "Lunar Intoxication".
My favorite part in this level is undeniably the last one, which is from 89% to the end. It's such a masterfully created climax with effects that still impress me every time I watch it. The entire level is amazing, but that last part truly stands above the rest for me. I also want to highlight the ship part at 18% with the "Sephiroth" text in the structures above and below the player. I find this part super funny, yet very true to something you would see back in update 1.9.
I would honestly say this is my favorite "1.9 tribute" level because of how nostalgic it feels while coming up with so many new ideas. It is also a super fun level from start to finish, and one that I absolutely recommend beating. I had a very unexpected fluke from 52% on this level, but I will say there are some very difficult spots in the second half. I personally think this is closer to an Insane Demon, but most people say it's an Extreme Demon, so I went with that. Overall, I am really looking forward to more works from Soup26, as he is a massively underrated creator with incredible potential.
