Super fun classic level
Pretty dang cool for a 1.9 level, obviously very revolutionary
Future Funk, but with a retro aesthetic. You can very clearly see how all the different parts were influenced by the original, which does bring it down a tiny bit, but just about everything is used in an entirely different context — the fragmented blocks from the ending of FF, for example, were originally used to make a space-themed part, but the same block design is used here in an urban setting against an orange sunset. Couple that with some fun (albeit ever so slightly janky in a couple places) gameplay, and you get an awesome level that won't be forgotten anytime soon.
Gameplay isn't good because of the flashing red and black colours. It's hard before you beat it, yes, but if a level has no replay value, then that's a big... red flag.
Notoriously unbalanced. The drop starts with a serious difficulty spike and ramps down from there before picking up a little at the end. The gameplay itself, though, isn't that bad (for the most part), and the deco looks pretty cool.
Surprisingly fun gameplay once you learn it.
The theming is nice, but the gameplay has some of the most chaotic balancing I've ever seen. The ship parts have some really tight straightflying, and all the cube and ball gameplay is really easy.
