I thought this would be an interesting topic, so here's the idea:

Give an opinion that you have seen someone say/heard, and explain as to why that opinion doesn't make sense to you. Can be something simple, can be something complicated. (And no, nothing negative blue fox related.)

I'll start as an example.

"The first and last spider part in Skeletal Shenanigans is learny and repetitive." Repetitive I get, but learny? Not really. If anything, the two spider parts are actually easy to understand as it is mainly semi-click sync based. If the reason is that you're not good with syncing your clicks to a song that you're not familiar with, then I'd get it. Otherwise... yeah, the spider parts are easy to understand. Personally, the 1st cube is a bit more learny if you're trying to get it with the coin. If it's that, then I would agree.

Edit: Its fine if the opinion is not GD related, so as long as its an opinion that doesn't make sense to you. (Upon reading some of the opinions, I realized too late that I didn't specify it to be GD related or not. lol. Fuck it, we ball.)

i think five nights pollapo is more enjoyable and unlike commatose i wish that was longer. commatose is too long for its own good and the go isnt all that fun

Boogie (the extreme demon one which entirely consists of easy demon flow gp for 6.5 minutes) being in top 500 aredl, rank 26 gddl, insane tier nlw. maybe it's just because i'm a crappy mobile player who doesn't like blunt gameplay but it is NOT THAT HARD, definitely not above bloodbath and boj and athanathos. and it's not even unbalanced with snoozefest parts like a jonathangd level or anything, it's constantly in motion with no chokepoints. cicada3302 has chokepoints, boring parts, bugs, and is a minute longer, but is placed at like top 900? this makes no sense to me

This is a very rare opinion but I've heard people say that they do not like Acu because it's unsightreadable. Brother what?

people say that you shouldn't take fumos out of the bag but that's very stupid, how are you supposed to play with them if they're wrapped in plastic?

One time a guy blocked me on twitter because I was "19 with a private account lil [sic] yourself you fucking retard". It's been nearly 4 months and I can't stop thinking about it. What could possibly be the logic here

I don’t think this is that out there. If it had its current NoNG replacement on release — a cover of the song rather than something that loosely matches at best — I could have seen it getting mythic. I’m not super fond of its length or gameplay myself, but I’m also woefully unprepared for very long levels, so I don’t think I’m qualified to talk about that. I still appreciate what it’s going for, though I’m not concerned about its rating anymore; most of my favorite levels either released before higher ratings or would never receive such.

This is possibly the strangest GD take I’ve seen:

“extremes shouldn’t get high in-game ratings because hardly anyone can beat them”

I can see why someone wouldn’t want mods handing out high sends to levels they can’t judge the gameplay of themselves (though this is inferred; that quote is all I have to work with), but in a world where most extremes don’t even get epic (and worse on the platformer side, with most of those not even featured), I can’t see why anyone would want to disqualify the idea of a highly rated extreme for something as silly as “they’re too difficult”. It’s already annoying enough to get an extreme rated; if anything, it feels like this user’s opinion is already what we’re seeing in-game.

I was shocked to see that NADRR by Ardolf is tier 6 on the GDDL , honestly this thing is WAY easier than Deadlocked !
