I have another question for you all : Do you think special characters should be re-allowed in GD ?

I'm talking about hyphens , underscores , ponctuation marks , etc ...

Personally , i don't think allowing would cause any problems and i would love hyphens to get allowed since , in its standard form , my username uses an hyphen on both sides ( -NovaX27- )

I don't know if all of them should be allowed since i find ponctuation marks kind of useless in this game however i think that hyphens and underscores should be allowed at least for usernames !

also ye, special characters should be a thing. i found an interesting mechanic where if you copy a level titled "2147483647" the copy is called "-2147483648" due to an integer overflow, and i want to upload -2147483648 to the servers

Yeah, because levels like -sirius- are unsearchable atm

personally id rather have the name length limit be longer, ive had a bunch of cool names for levels not fit the limit and i always hated it, though hyphens would be cool

commas should be allowed in comments only (not usernames) but hyphens, underscores and spaces should be reallowed in usernames

I think so, if they're on keyboards universally I don't see a problem
