Ok so I found out about this site yesterday through Reddit and I'm so excited to start using it! However, there are some ideas that I think could help make this site better. I'm not sure if some of these ideas are already planned since this is still a work-in-progress site, but these are just my suggestions.

  1. Making a separate page for search results. With some levels having the exact same title and/or stylization (e.g.: multiples levels named "Black and white" without being able to see the creators/publishers), I think having the search results on their own page would help users find the level they're looking for much easier.

  1. Creator pages. This would allow users to easily see all of a creator's uploaded levels and determine whether that person's levels are worth playing or not.

  1. I feel like having some kind of official difficulty system for the site would help make the difficulty ratings of levels much more accurate, as some of the ratings are a bit skewed at the moment (for example, Cataclysm has a lower difficulty rating than Nine Circles, and some of the easiest demons are near the same difficulty rating as levels rated Easy 2*).

Overall, this site has great potential, but I think it's missing these key features that would help improve it a lot. Hope you take this feedback into consideration, thanks for reading! :)

First off, welcome to the site! Always nice to see more people joining :)

Point 1 sounds like a good idea. It would definitely make it a lot clearer what level you're clicking on. If nothing else, maybe the search results could include the creator's name below the level in slightly de-emphasized text?

Point 2 is also an interesting idea, but I imagine it might be harder to implement and/or it would take up more space, as there'd need to be a creator page for every creator with a level anywhere on this site, even if it's just some random recent tab level that no one has reviewed. Not saying it would necessarily be bad, but we'll just need to see what Admin thinks of it.

As for point 3, I brought that up a while ago, and an alternate solution was put forth. If you don't want to read through all that, the idea is that with enough reviews, some sort of homogenous rating system will emerge based on all the different rating systems everyone uses. If enough people with a wide enough variety of rating systems rate enough levels, those levels will have appropriate difficulty ratings. (If you feel that a level's difficulty rating is off, you might consider leaving a review yourself; if no one casts a vote, then nothing changes.)

Thanks for the welcome! :)

The creators in de-emphasized text is also a good way to implement my first point.

I get what you mean with the insane amount of creator pages there would have to be. I imagine something like that may be too big, but yeah let’s see what Admin thinks of it.

I did not see that original thread before, but I understand the solution to the difficulty problem, I think it’s a good idea!
