I understand if I sound stupid saying this, but I just joined Hyperbolus today and want to place a review on a level. The problem is, the creators don't make it obvious how to write a review, unlike creating a thread. Could somebody help me with my stupid question?

go to the levels page below:

https://hyperbolus.net/levels

first try using the magnifying glass at the top of the page to search for your level. if your level exists, use the resulting link to go to the level page to write your review

if not, you will need to add the level id to the level id field in the link above. you can find the level id by going into the comment section of the level in gd and looking at the number at the bottom of the screen. copy this number into the level id field at the link above

either way you should be brought to the levels page. once there, click on the reviews tab to start writing a review

its worth noting you must first verify your email before you can start writing reviews.

you can score the level based on four factors.

first there's an overall score which can be any integer in the range 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

second there's a difficulty score which can be any integer in the range 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100

third there's a gameplay score which can be any integer in the range 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

fourth there's a visual score which can be any integer in the range 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

you can choose to leave the final three scores blank if you wish by toggling the omit score button (by default they are omitted)
