probably the only level i'm probably not beating because i'm genuinely concerned of it hurting me. this is an interesting facet to me and it is a good/"good" experience to watch. really interesting this coming from 3 creators who were actually decently well known in 2.0, zipper, maxk, and especially misterm. zipper released almost nothing in the entirety of 2.1 and then suddenly one day i got this thing in my sub box

one of very few levels that actually meaningfully builds on devin's style imo. its just like 20 seconds give or take of the most unhinged adult swim beautiful body horror insanity. really hits to the core and then disappears. if any level deserves the name level it would be this level

will never not surprise me that the pretty clear highlight of the world gauntlet contest was peru, of all nations. like i know a lot of people live there but a lot of people live in a lot of other places too. it's really not the first place you think of when you think of gd and like i don't think i've heard of any of these creators outside this level. will likely continue to grow on me as we get farther and farther away from this particular era of art levels which while this does it right is very oversaturated and contentious at time of writing (early 2025)
