pretty sure i’m gonna be the only one here rating this this high relative to their scale. i can’t really explain it, i just find this an endlessly replayable and memorable level for whatever reason, but at least in a description sense, somewhere between glow of the era and haon, stripped back and around a meltdown (is that the one? i get the spinoffs mixed up) theme. other dorsha levels do not have the meticulous feeling this one has in it for me, and really there’s a lot of levels that broadly fit ‘somewhere between glow, haon, and meltdown/world’ but this just executes it to perfection, the slightly janky looking style included. and yes i kinda had the start of this feeling when i saw this level outside of its gauntlet and i remembering being glad to see it there, especially among the pretty bad early gauntlets
as a layout creator, probably one of my favorite layouts out there, definitely one of my favorite effect layouts. but unfortunately it’s literally just called I which has probably hampered its success but one that really succeeds in focus and pacing. still brilliant even after seeing the sound vortex inspiration
a bit surprised this doesnt have more negative reviews coz it's one i can expect people hating, the joy of this level is in its big rainbow noise mush of a pair of drops and its definitely not something from everyone, kinda one that 'brute forces its way out of looking like gd' as the most divergent later 2.1 levels did. but im glad ppl understand the complete euphoria of this thing, really good payback from diened for shiver which is a level i find seriously and frustratingly flawed. this rly trims the chaff and really unoriginal parts and is very much its own thing
secretly by far the best thing by this guy but yall arent ready for that conversation
