Rating Curve

definitely one of the most unique 1.9 themed levels out there, the obvious influence is the toxin lab series (esp the earlier ones) but it really does its own thing and is surprisingly consistent for a megacollab (i didn't think it was one when i first saw it which is a good sign, especially with how i've heard of like, no one in it), with simultaneously a ton of variety and a very consistent theming, tons of oddball design and wonderfully learny and strange gameplay. the only hard miss is that part that's just totally biting vlacc, but it's like 5 seconds long. has the very commendable trait of not being afraid to use newer objects to enhance its vision and vibe which is a woefully underrated decision. not really any other level in gd quite like this one

still a weird situation where these were both well known when i was getting into gd (and wasn’t in any places) where these really blend together in my mind and feel kind of incomplete without each other (and this objectively is probably the better one, unlike dr raszagal phoenix), this one likely more well known because it’s a notably hard underrated nondemon, but yknow still the lack of creativity does eat away at the score for me. 1.9 was a weird time
