Rating Curve

As much as I want to like this level, I must admit that this ultimately falls flat in comparison to Wow. The deco really isn't anything special and the gameplay doesn't have the same charm that Wow did.

Even if the deco isn't stellar by todays standards, the amount of aura emanating from this level is immeasurable.

Deep Based

THIS is how you make a sequel to a bad level. This manages to maintain all of the charm Down Bass had amidst it's infamy, and remove all of the parts that make people despise it.

Why didn't I do this first...

Great representation of the Wavetapper music video in gd. since it's an auto level, there's no gp to speak of, but that can be excused.

Genuinely one of my favorite extremes in the entire game. The deco, gameplay, and song rep are unlike anything else I've seen in the game.

I love Woogi's deco style a lot, and the fact that this is a megacollab of creators putting their own spin on it is awesome to me. And given that these are creators I like seeing, This level is super cool to me.

It's not very often that you see a level about fishing that turns out to actually be about cosmic horror. This level is probably cw's best showing of his storytelling talent - He takes an idea that seems silly and makes it work tremendously well.

All of Devin's greatest hits in a five minute package. It's understandable that this isn't rated considering that Devin likes putting gore in his levels, though the effort put into this is well worthy of an epic.

Deceptively, this actually has good gameplay. pretty unexpected from a hell themed top 30 from 2017, but lo and behold, it's not ass.

The deco could be better though, I won't deny that.

The Place

Some of the best song representation I've ever seen in a level. I occasionally say that it seems as if songs were made for specific levels, but this goes doubly for this level - every single noise in the song is represented in some way.
