had a very fun experience beating this, i never liked renn247 as a creator but everything just worked so well here. sometimes it gets terribly ugly but a majority of the time renn is able to whip up a simple atmosphere that just looks pleasant and works for long enough until the next one comes. very good eye for aesthetics i might say. very entrancing, both when watching and playing.

really dont know if i enjoyed the gameplay or not because i had a really unique experience with it but also thought it was really awful to learn. 88-100 is awfully inconsistent and spammy. its easy enough to not be a problem.. but still.

i think the most pathetic thing about this level is how hard it tried to be taken seriously and still kind of looks and plays like complete garbage. i gotta give it credit for having some of the most memorable gameplay in the list's history though - lazy but elegant in a funny looking way

beyond having the most character of any top 1 in history, theres a point to be made about zodiac being the perfect sendoff to this era of geometry dash. encapsulates everything wrong about the state of your average megacollabs back then: incoherent theming, forced difficulty, bad gameplay, bad transitions, far-fetched top 1 aspirations, hack verified,... its like watching a best-of compilation. a level destined to forever only be on hacked-together youtube videos of 'upcoming top 1 demons' only to never get finished. yet it defied all odds and did everything it set out to do.

an impressively incompetent level. we have never gotten a level like this and likely never will again.

never liked modern as a style but i gotta admit xender game is by far its best adherent and its not particularly close. the Lore behind this level is at best kind of corny and gimmicky but if you discard that then this is a great exercise in immersion
