The sound effects and player covering effects are pretty disruptive but I don’t think it needs to be stated that the art is stunning, seniorsaturno is a natural when it comes to using pixel blocks

This level is incredibly hard to judge because it defies everything that would normally make a level good, it's astounding how this managed to be so unoriginal and unique at the same time. The premise of the level is interesting, intentionally taking large chunks of other levels to represent the song which is known for falling under the plunderphonics genre, I have a lot of respect for this kind of indirect theming and it does convince me sampling has a place inside this game. However, this whole idea falls flat on its face when the level is scraping by to think of any transformative use for the samples it is capitalizing off of. There are no meaningful references, the way the designs work together is a mediocre attempt at best, even the creators picked to sample from are completely random as far as im aware. The end result is just another generic looking 7ak level that somehow happens to suffer worse from lacking character, nothing about it sticks in your head the same way a catchy plunderphonics song does, I find it really lazy

My issue with this level is that the second part is explosive in quality and immediately sets the bar way too high for the rest of the level, it's done at the calmest point of the song at that! I dont think it needs to be said that the "real" climax just didnt hit for me at all, and thats unfortunate because most of the designs in this level are far from bad.

I can sorta respect this level despite doing a lot of things im generally not a fan of, the corny alliteration in the name and extremely heavy promo from airz already gave me a bad first impression so it's nice to see something exceed my expectations. While I dont particularly feel huge on these over-modernized textures, I still think theyre aesthetically balanced and a good job was done making it look presentable inside the level. Visually speaking the only part i really had any issue with was the boss itself, it's strangely overanimated and doesnt mix well with anything building up to that point. Speaking of which, while i admire the attempt to make a fully randomized bossfight i wasnt very impressed by it, the patterns are either insanely obnoxious to read or dont pose any threat at all. Other than that the level is whatever, kind of a theme/concept dead on arrival to me but it was thoughtfully done at least

This level is a love letter so earnest and direct, it almost makes me feel invasive just looking at it. The designs are quite charming however, it lacks far more polish than im usually comfortable with but in this instance it adds to the sincerity of the expression. If someone made me a gift like this I would be nothing but grateful, but from an outsider’s perspective it can be kinda awkward to experience.

Overproduced and incoherent, despite using a great song and having some pretty astonishing effects it still feels made solely for the sake of mass market appeal. Tho this is possibly the only time I can ever excuse a 3d gimmick like this, it works in similar fashion to super paper mario where the sudden dimension shift doesn’t affect any game model visually nor the flow of the overall gameplay.

Absolutely stunning visuals and music representation and I can’t understate it enough, it’s unfortunate there’s not a whole lot more going for this level. Djudjeito has an incredible way of working with colors and this might be his most evident example yet, all the designs sparkle bright in spite of the consistently gloomy tone and the rough textures add to the unsettling vibes in just the right way. The technical ability one must have to make art of this quality in this large amount is genuinely impressive and it’s really cool to see all the effort paying off some way. It’s just a shame the gameplay felt like a complete afterthought, none of it adds anything of value to the level and it makes an otherwise fascinating trip kind of boring to sit through. Still a great experience all around, I just think it easily could’ve been much better.
