Phenomenal art, dverry has always been known to be way ahead of their time and sleepless night is in my eyes easily the biggest contributor to that belief. I love all the ornate designs and icy colors, they're beautifully composed and capture the vibes of the song perfectly. The only thing that really drags this level down for me is its innate quality as a 2.0 effect/art level, a lot of the gameplay is completely linear and the transitions dont really make sense and feel unsmooth overall. As much as I want to consider this to be an all time classic I dont think it quite earns itself that reputation, but were dverry to ever return we would more likely than not see magic unfold

I can’t shrug off the thought that half the level is unfinished, not much different from ilrell’s “level sketches”, but this is way too much of a bop to play it down. Some parts do need a bit of a touch up, primarily the first few parts, but any time a visualiser is on screen you can ensure the level is doing its duties. The colours are fresh and vibrant to fit the warmth of the hard hitting snares, it’s a lovely synergy with all the sharp silhouettes that scream rock like no other. It’s a highly addictive experience, it’s a shame the weaknesses are too present to arise much more of my honour

A bit unpolished, some of the effects simply dont work out how they were probably imagined. The art style on the other hand I'm a big fan of, some parts are a bit too cluttered for my liking but the unique texture all these ornate shapes give off make me willing to look past it. The ethereal vibes of the level combine nicely with this strange, organic way of structuring, a bit like thorns and brambles by yoreid the way the overgrowth feels like it creeps up on the player make it feel like you're exploring a world you shouldn't step into. Very promising level for sure, would love to see an idea like this expanded on even further
