I wish I could like this more but the focus on the more relevant designs are constantly diverted by something else taking up that attention, a level thats supposed to thrive from its elegance ends up doing too much at once and loses a good portion of its beauty in turn. Sadly the blossom at the end doesnt feel much more impactful, the transition into the field isnt very smooth and has this strange, artificial growth to it that makes the flowers seem fake in comparison to the rest of parts. The start of the level has such a ripe charm I wish to have seen more of, it perfectly captures the desolated and ice cold setting that make such environments so intimidating, you dont need anything more than that to sell the idea that you're hanging onto survival out there. The drop/climax falls more into this simple grace as well, sadly just clashing with the parts surrounding it. The ideas here were very strong but it's evident that the level mightve been a bit too ambitious for its own good, I much prefer consistency over execution and my entire experience here was dragged down with this preference in mind
Doesnt work well as an auto level personally, the designs and ideas are great but I dont find anything charismatic enough to sit through whats essentially a long cutscene. The concept of floating through the air and having a good view on the environment around you isnt a bad thing in itself, I'm sure it could be pulled off in a meaningful way, it already would've been much less of a bore in this case if the narrative wasnt so arbitrary and the paranormal moving of the player was made more sense of. There is a lot of promise to be found here, I would just need to see it done
A bit too linear for my liking, a lot of the structures feel like they have no direction and are just there to fill up space, but oh my these designs are wonderful
Very repetitive, there's the one star part I quite like but everything else feels like a poor attempt at throwing whatever at the editor in hope it works out
