Rating Curve

Loses some of its power in trying to be more presentable to a wider audience. Still theres a poetic quality here that doesnt feel like a shallow attempt at adding depth but geniune vulnerability. The song is bad though i really think this should have a better song lmao

This level is fascinating there is a lot to note here and i have to write a review on this eventually

The gameplay and the transitions here are pretty god damn bad. It has a ton of interesting visuals and displays a large amount of talent and technical ability but it also often has elements that feel like fluff and devalue the best parts of it. A lot of symbolism here feels quite childish, which works for a level like Out of Place but here it just falls apart for me. I feel its best decribed as a very unique level that has very common flaws.

Its okay? Its kinda obviously skywalker still tryin to assemble a more clear and effective style. It makes a few choices i quite like and a bunch which i find annoying but nothing here is outright terrible or absolutely gorgeous. Its easily topped by levels he made later on.

Arcade Fire is fucking terrible and this level reflects that pretty well.
