The asymmetrical dual ship working was the biggest shock when I first played this level. If you ever find the chance, play this level
This level being ALMOST invisible might be worse than if it was fully invisible since being able to somewhat see encourages trying to keep your eyes peeled as to not lose [dynamic on] track of where you are. My eyes genuinely hurt more from trying to beat this than many of the levels people consider to be epileptic.
This is simply one of those cases where playing the level made my opinion on it worse.
A lot of people seem to complain about the beginning cube, but I honestly thought that was the most fun part of the level. The main problem for me was the first ship, which I just found so uncomfortable to play. The dual right after also suffers from the same problem. It might’ve been the point, but that doesn’t stop me from not enjoying it.
As much as I love the climax of this level, the journey just didn’t feel worth it in my opinion.
This was the first KrmaL demon I beat, and it will probably be my last.
worst level in the game
A beautiful story that bypasses the language barrier
I have always wanted there to be a level that didn’t waste any time on the predrop and exclusively took place in the drop of the song. I discovered this level yesterday whilst in the process of making a new list, and it is basically everything I ever wanted.
Not only does this level take place exclusively during the drop of the song it uses, Underground by NightKilla, but all the gameplay is in 4x speed. Those two factors alone make this such an intense level to play.
The visuals definitely aren’t the best, but I’ll cut the creator some slack as this was their first 2.2 level and a lot of us were still experimenting with the new features. Besides, the decoration doesn’t do much to take away from the experience, and in some cases, it makes it more intense with the new shaders and camera triggers.
I recommend this level to anyone good enough to beat it. This isn’t gameplay you see very often, and you feel cool asf when playing it.
That last wave is genuinely one of the most beautiful endings to a level I have ever seen
