Awesome gameplay, visuals leave a bit to be desired though. Definitely a big case of needing to actually play it to understand the quality. Big highlight of Hard Demons and I would definitely recommend it as an overall skill check for transitioning into Insane Demons, as it bridges the gap very well.
Shocked to find out this was a solo level, it must have taken a ton of work to put so many unique ideas into this. The structuring is wild and the decoration is doing a lot while still looking like a Geometry Dash level, which is most definitely a compliment. Gameplay doesn’t fall flat either. Just an overall really good level.
Few levels project the raw feeling of being awesome like BLRPL LGHTS does. Novaach’s masterpiece for sure, the gameplay is fast paced the whole way through and doesn’t miss a single beat. Speaking of beats, holy shit that song is going off. The decoration is not slacking either, it looks incredible and I’m not sure how this didn’t get epic, it certainly looks good enough for it. Please play this it is a total jam.
It calls you slurs. Twice. And it has a maddening wave chokepoint. Props for the gay sea otter line being hilarious, but thats where most of my compliments end. Go play Eff instead it’s way better.
goose knows his shit creators take notes. The bedlam of the drop and it’s turbo learny gameplay is the definition of intensity yet when it’s paired with the unique vibes goose has set up it transforms into an “eye of the storm” feeling, being serene yet clearly chaotic. Absolute masterclass of early 2.1.
It’s funny yeah but it’s actually insufferable the spider part in particular in so menacing that many have compared it to an Abyss of Darkness part, and I would have to agree. It single-handedly slashes any enjoyment you can get from this level, ironic or unironic.
It’s cool I guess. The moving orbs have a lot of advantages and disadvantages but it all zeroes out to pretty damn solid. Recommended if you want a memory Hard Demon that isn’t half as old as you.
Geometry Dash equivalent of hitting your forehead on the cupboard door.
Learny and weird, even by Loltad’s famously high standards. Overpracticing is necessary to determine which part is randomly the hardest for you. It’s like a Buzzfeed quiz; we can determine which character from Friends you are based on what part you find the hardest. If it’s the 70s robot, you’re Joey! The theming is done in a creative way, using bleached colors to sell the atmosphere of an alien world more convincingly, and I think it works!
