You can really tell when a creator had fun making their level, and this level feels like an absolute blast. Not all too much beyond that though
Do I even need to explain
It takes such a creative mind to make something like this which cannot be easily compared to anything that came before it. You'd expect a level using a song like this to be completely carried by its choice of music but this level somehow manages to capture even the tiniest nuances in the masterpiece by Glass Beach. Astoundingly done; it's literally like if the level you saw in your head when listening to music was real
All things considered, completely different from the level it's a sequel to. No more level references; much higher energy; but it does an outstanding job at what it sets out to do regardless.
I don't think the sequel to Future Funk needed to just be a rehash of the original, so I'm glad this level is so different while still noticeably carrying the same charm. It puts a little more thought into gameplay than Future Funk, which makes it very fun to play. Nothing will ever match the buildup to the dual and to the final part in the original level though.
I don't think a single other level can ever match the pure energy of Future Funk. There's a reason it's a classic
Some people complain about balancing, but I feel like a level is free to be somewhat unbalanced if it serves its concept well. The nerves you feel on this level are unlike any other level of its difficulty and it's exhilarating.
Like the GD equivalent of those Youtube Kids content farms with random licensed characters in them. Features a grand total of zero original ideas
Deadlocked, iSpy, and Rage Quit are all levels with plenty of merit. This creator just attempts to mash them all together as if they don't know what made those levels special in the first place.
An absolute masterclass in vibes. Gameplay is also pretty good. This song is overused now but this level used it before it became stale
I beat this level AGES ago and I still think about its gameplay. It's just so incredibly good
