A lot better than the daily before it, Rave

It, unlike Rave, is fucking awesome! The song choice is leagues better and the decoration matches it really well, it makes the basic gameplay feel a lot cooler than it really is.

The gameplay is pretty fine overall, but there are some things that could be improved, such as
- indicating the random ass gravity changes;
- making the gameplay from 18% to 36% to be more engaging than "somewhat fly in the middle of the screen" (it's almost 20% of 💤ship gameplay even Rave had the decency to only have 10% 😭);
- the buffers from 43% could be less awkward, mainly the cube jumps at 47%~48%, the spike in the second jump could be deleted it could make that part a bit better;
- the wave part didn't give me much of a trouble, but I can see the obstacles that fade into existance being a problem since I think they show up when you're too close to them, maybe make them fade in half a second earlier.
Everything else is pretty cool.
I want to give the gameplay a 8/10 or even a 9/10, but that ship part from 18% to 36% is way too boring and long.

The decoration and effects does a lot for this level, the deco is clean and effects while not very innovative, are enough to make the experience a lot cooler. It even makes the boring ass ship part kinda cool, it still boring af but hey the song goes hard, so as you're trying to somewhat fly in the middle of the screen you can enjoy the beat with the effects.
Of course, they could be a better, the deco is clean but pretty simple, more detail could be put into the block designs and backgrounds and the effects could have been more interesting than just a glow line going up every beat (the effect in the first part) and tilting the screen every beat accompanied by a slight screen bulge (the effect from 55% to ~74%), the effects from 74% onwards are pretty good and varied.
So I'm giving it a 8/10, I like it, but I can see it being even better!

Alright I said I'd review daily levels, but I felt like I had to write one on this level since my comment praising the level got -4 likes :p

This level is really really good (for when it came out), far far far FAR from being one of the worst levels in the gauntlets. The gameplay isn't nearly as bad as the people in the level's comments claim it to be, although I must agree it is more of a 6 star than a 5. It syncs well with the song, which btw is very good, is pretty well indicated and it is just fun overall.
The first and third coins are pretty blind which is never a good thing, but come on it's a 5 star, you might die to it once or twice but you'll quickly know when to click. I'm not saying this isn't a negative, it just isn't that much of a problem in this context, if they weren't blind I'd give the gameplay a 10/10.

The decoration is obviously from an earlier era of 2.1 but I think it just adds to the charm this level has. The crystal cave theme is well executed, there are bunch of small details you might not even notice, like an actual hand showing up to push the minecart in the first part and the gold falling the another cart once you fall onto it. You might think I'm crazy for giving it a 10/10, but I just love it too much to give anything but a 10/10, it's early-2.1 look works to it's advantage, unlike levels like Hypersonic, it is very charming and it is just very well executed!

One of my favourite levels from the pre-2.2 gaunlets

This level isn't as bad as it is boring

The gameplay is simple and sometimes repetitive, like how from 38% to 48% all you have to do is fly somewhat in the middle of the screen, and the segment after it keeps the repetitiveness.
At 70% you're thrown into a swing part without any way of knowing beforehand, it isn't that bad because the floor and roof have no spikes, and the click indicators are more likely to kill you since you're prompted to click at them when going from the floor to the roof is a lot safer, but still not very good, the ending is fine tho.
The coins are also pretty fine, the first one was pretty easy to get and the second one is basically free.

The decoration is your usual daily level deco, minimalistic. I wouldn't call it modern styled but I can understand if someone thinks so. Effects, movements and 2.2 effects like camera controls are kept to a minimum, same as the block design. It is so simple it's impossible to be bad, except for the orb deco tho, who tf decorates orbs as sawblades?? Yeah once you pass through one you know they won't kill you but just... why??

And I know this isn't something not all that worth bringing up, but the song is as cool as the level itself, boring af

I've always wanted to write reviews for the daily levels since I've been playing them almost daily for almost an year now :D So expect more reviews from me!
