MIGHT BE the best visuals I have ever seen for a level in this game. Someone needs to go and put this deco style in a level that's actually hard because holy shit it would literally be the best level ever made. Unfortunately, it being 3 stars doesn't leave a whole lot of room for the gameplay to do much of anything interesting. At least the gameplay does actually still manage to serve the rest of the level, as it's mostly open ship which really speaks to the whole "voyage through space" theme going on here.
My biggest fluke on an insane demon! I fluked this from 28, but I still feel that I can give some decent thoughts.
I probably like this level much more than I should have any right to. A lot of that can probably be attributed to the fluke, but I genuinely just thought this level was very fun. A nice mix of timings and sync that doesn't feel like total RNG, difficult ship gameplay that catches you off guard at first but quickly becomes fun, and even memory-esque cube part with multiple ways to clear it, which I always like.
Also, to any creators reading this, PLEASE BRO I NEED this style to start seeing more usage in hard levels. I LOVE the aesthetic here, so much so that this would've probably scored a 10 if it weren't a bit obstructive of the gameplay at times.
PROBABLY Zobros' best work. Shockingly fun and addicting to play for being a timing level set entirely in half speed. Much like bloodbath, I believe this is another one of those must-play levels for anyone looking to improve at the game, it's a fantastic introduction to timing gameplay.
Oh, and bonus points for how well the decoration has aged despite it's simplicity. Still gives off the same atmosphere it did all those years ago.
My current hardest! Though I hope for it to be dethroned soon (15k attempts on sink rn with no motivation left to play the level LOL). This took me about 7.5k iirc and I, unlike MANY content creators it seems, really enjoyed it! Yes, the balancing is a bit goofy, but I sincerely don't think it's as bad as everyone says it is. Most of the parts people consider to be "harder than the rest" are just parts that are difficult to get used to and not a whole lot more. I didn't even think the 70 dual wave was that bad. The wave bit at 85 can suck a fatty though, never got used to it. The overall gameplay is SUPER fun minus those few gripes.
The deco also looks great for its time and hasn't aged all that bad. I highly recommend you give this one a shot, but I apologize if your experience is complete dogshit like many people's experience with this level tends to be, for whatever reason.
