PROBABLY Zobros' best work. Shockingly fun and addicting to play for being a timing level set entirely in half speed. Much like bloodbath, I believe this is another one of those must-play levels for anyone looking to improve at the game, it's a fantastic introduction to timing gameplay.

Oh, and bonus points for how well the decoration has aged despite it's simplicity. Still gives off the same atmosphere it did all those years ago.

Solid gameplay and visuals that get the job done well. Much like alcatraz, this is a level that I don't have very much to say about. However, UNLIKE alcatraz, it's for good reason this time. It's just a reliable level that I guarantee most players will like, regardless of skill level or taste.

I beat this before the joke update, so I'm basing my opinion on that version.

That being said, there isn't much of an opinion to change here. This is quite literally a default extreme. Nothing is particularly bad but nothing is outright good either. The deco is serviceable and the gameplay is functional. Nothing more to say really.

Currently 15k attempts in to trying to make this my hardest, which might lead you to believe I don't like this level all that much but HOLY PEAK this level rocks dude.

Just about as good as 1.9 restricted deco could possibly get while being primarily based around my favorite color and unbelievably fun and satisfying sync-based gameplay throughout the entire thing. I really couldn't ask for anything more in an extreme.

I have only 2 gripes with the gameplay. For one, as a previous reviewer said, the 15-30 segment feels a little random at times and can be a just a tad frustrating to deal with, especially if you're beating this as your hardest like I am. For the other thing, the transitions in a few parts scattered throughout the whole level are also susceptible to feel kind of random. You gotta pay more attention to them then you think, which can become frustrating as well. Besides that, this is some of the best gameplay I've experienced in any level EVER. So much fun. Everyone who enjoys sync gameplay NEEDS to give this a try.

Side note, I know songs aren't taken into consideration for ratings and reviews here but THIS FIXER COVER IS SO GAS. I never tire of hearing it.

My first extreme and one that I frankly think gets a little too much hate. I'm not saying it's the greatest thing in the world, but the average gameplay score here would have you believe it was some hidden bass cave sequel.

For one thing, the deco is pretty great. There's a clear and consistent theme and it's executed well throughout the whole level, not much more to say on that front. It's a shame that it's incredibly poorly optimized requires almost everyone to play a horrendous looking LDM. As I said before, the gameplay is not as bad in my eyes as everyone seems to say that it is, but I will admit that it's a pretty uninteresting nothing burger of odd timings and random chokepoints. I actually didn't have much issue with any of the chokepoints in this level, but I can easily see how they would get annoying. At the same time, I honestly have a bit of a soft spot for simplistic gameplay like this, so I'm bound to like it more than most players. Overall, not great, but certainly not as a bad as other reviews would have you believe.

Probably the most famous level in the entire game with an absolutely titanium reputation. I'm dead serious here, as corny as this sounds, the aura this level exudes is second to none as far as extremes go in this game. The fact that its decoration is perhaps the most well-aged of any 1.9 level in the history of the game only serves to aid its legendary status.

Peeling back the mystique, however, is when things start to go downhill for this level. A large chunk of the gameplay, by which I mean basically everything past Michigun's part, is actually quite fun. Evasium and Etzer in particular are some of my favorite parts in any extreme. However, it is during and before Michigun where much of the fun value is lost here. The first third of the level is nothing short of a boring slog, making attempts from 0 an absolute chore for a majority of your time with the level. May Michi rest in peace but dear god his part is annoying as hell, dying there feels like a punch in the balls every time. Though, if you're able to trudge through that mess, chances are you'll have a good time with Bloodbath.

Despite its flaws, I genuinely believe that this is an absolute must-play for EVERYONE who gets even halfway decent at this game. It's such an integral part to the legacy of the playing community that beating it is essentially a rite of passage for becoming a skilled player.

My current hardest! Though I hope for it to be dethroned soon (15k attempts on sink rn with no motivation left to play the level LOL). This took me about 7.5k iirc and I, unlike MANY content creators it seems, really enjoyed it! Yes, the balancing is a bit goofy, but I sincerely don't think it's as bad as everyone says it is. Most of the parts people consider to be "harder than the rest" are just parts that are difficult to get used to and not a whole lot more. I didn't even think the 70 dual wave was that bad. The wave bit at 85 can suck a fatty though, never got used to it. The overall gameplay is SUPER fun minus those few gripes.

The deco also looks great for its time and hasn't aged all that bad. I highly recommend you give this one a shot, but I apologize if your experience is complete dogshit like many people's experience with this level tends to be, for whatever reason.
