The idea itself of "Stereo Madness but flashy effects" already dooms the level from the start. The level would have benefited immensely if it was simply an auto. It's clear that the creator only focused on visuals, so why even bother with gameplay anyway? Nobody plays Rage Quit to have fun, they play the level because its ultimately eye candy, at this point why not just watch a showcase? The level shows nothing of substance apart from a few cool ideas that honestly carry the level from "slop" to "okay" in my opinion. For me, this got most of it's points from the fact that this is probably the best level to impress a new GD player with what people are capable of making in the editor, or in other words, the creator aimed to make something as visually impressive as he could, an succeeded, unfortunate that a few bad decisions brought this down by so much.

By definition, slop. Purely made to show technical skill, which is in no way important to a levels value. It is a prime example of key dangling, a level attempting to appeal to the large majority of GD players, young children, and to get a lot of views on youtube. I feel absolutely nothing watching this level but, "this guy is good at using the editor". People that like this level look at art in a one dimensional way, which is expected considering they are mostly children. The idea explored in rage quit is unbelievably childish and is reflective of how lets play youtubers described GD as a rage game back in the mid 2010s.

I've already discussed this level in video form, when it came out, so I'll try to summarize my thoughts from back then, since they are the same now.

Based on the prompt this level is based on (Stereo Madness remake), Bli made a pretty decent job on this level. The technicalities of this level are quite impressive, especially the fluid animations. I also very much enjoy the overarching story told in the level about a new player rage-quitting on Stereo Madness. The forced deaths the player has to experience are a clever way to build the narrative.

Unfortunately, the storytelling of this level isn't perfect. The first ship part, for instance, is quite simply a filler visual stimulation that has nothing to do with anything in the rest of the level.

The gameplay, while mostly being Stereo Madness, also has some major flaws... at least, when it comes to sightreadability. Some camera movements back and forth make some easy obstacles quite hard to predict, and we can be all day discussing the 9 screens section, and how everything wrong with it would be solved if Bli indicated which screen was not going to be smashed and, therefore, safe to look at.

Overall, like I said before, the level isn't necessarily bad, especially for its prompt and the time limit given, but it has quite some flaws in sightreadability and narrative cohesion.

At the summit of the "coworker level" genre. This is, sure, a good level that's as eye catching as the revenue it generates, but the idea that it expresses isn't super deep. It's visually stunning, but the parts don't blend together into the theme super well as it looks like every idea that's expressed is only generated for shock value. The problem with that is that such shock wears off, and then just becomes unexciting on subsequent watches. You can't really do much better for remaking stereo madness on a time limit though.

A ok level, but mostly overrated

While Bli, the creator of many amazing level, have made so much shit that I don't think I can make even if they give me 10 years. This one is just isn't feel special to me, I guess it's because it made for a contest and having nothing change on the gameplay and trying to impress everyone who plays, the real problem I have is, mythic rate?? Well, I guess it's because the visual but mythic?? There's so much level that deserve mythic but this? Come on, and the visual isn't that impressive ether this just super overrated
