i wish i spent more time on some of the art and made it look better, kinda sloppy in parts. no regrets on the gameplay

Nights grow long by Fofii is a pretty fun doodle/sketch art level made in update 2.2. It captures the joy of the old trend of sketched line art levels and is a bit of a journey. You travel the land through houses, forests, underground, and even on a boat! The little details in the line art are really nice and polished. I especially like how empty space was utilized and the contrast of the lighter components in the backgrounds compared to the solid black outlines in the foreground art. The gameplay is fun for the most part, but it definitely isn't clear what kills you or what doesn't in some areas. Although jump indicators could have been a fix, the creator opted to make fun of jump indicators and added an option where they appear after you jump (and not in the place you jumped), which is comical. I like how none of the art is reused and it has some pretty unique ideas for shading. The camera controls following the player are not smooth however, which makes it a little difficult to follow some of the gameplay. I would recommend keeping it static and have the art move rather than the camera to balance.
