FlashBack Collector by Ivelll - Is this level too hard to understand? Let's see.
What people say: A lot of players find this confusing, struggling to understand the gimmicks of this level. They were also frustrated with the gameplay due to lots of difficult timings when performing the gimmicks.
My experience: Had to learn each gimmick for a while, and after that it's mostly a breeze. It became easy to figure out how to use the "flashbacks", but the timings are definitely the reason for not beating it quickly.
Is it really that bad?: I thought that the solutions for each parts were really cool, but I guess performing these solutions is what hinders the level from being flawless. Not bad, but the level needs to communicate to the players better to improve its reception.
Recommendations: Although instructions were improved in an update, may I suggest this instruction I attempted to make:
"Once you start moving, for every 3 seconds, you will be turned into a light form, and you will be flown to the statue before returning to a physical form (A Flashback). Any light shards that lie on your path back to the statue will be collected. You have a limited number of Flashbacks, indicated at the lower left corner of your screen."
For the timings, the players need audio cues, three beeps at the last second before the "flashback" could do.
