it has good controls and decent gp but isn’t the whole point of a roguelike to save your upgrades upon death
I completes it in 3-4
hours i thing
I personaly dont like levels that are different from GD, but this one is an exception. I also like how this is one of the only P2 levels that have actual good P2 controls on phone, so extra points for that
has sort of shrunk on me with time but its still quite well designed overall and controls really well, even if the roguelike elements tend to feel limited at best (stat upgrades) and limiting at worst (additional weapons)
I wasn't entirely sure if I was going to like the level due to the fact that I'm not really familiar with top-down shooter games. After playing though, I do have some thoughts. This level is hella trial and error heavy. Unless you have pretty good dodging skills in this kind of play style, chances are, you're spending at most 3 hours to beat it. But after coming up with an idea and figuring out the best approach when dodging the attacks, honestly, I enjoyed that trial and error process. Granted it took long for me to come up with that idea (which was literally grabbing a small but heavy enough object (in my case, an old DSi) and placing it on top of the right most key of my Sayodevice++ which was controlling up arrow), but after playing it enough and eventually beating the first area, I really did think this level was pretty fun.
